Margaret K Greenke was born 94 years ago to Oliver and Selma (Huseby) Riveland in Colgan, North Dakota. Marge was the oldest of 8 children and grew up “on the farm”. At 18 she moved to Bremerton, WA and became a co-owner in a Beauty Shop. She married Evan Paul Greenke in 1947 and they went on to have a full and rich life together, with many dear and wonderful friends. They loved traveling in their RV, spending winters in Arizona, socializing with friends and family, and playing cards. Marge was a wiz at pinochle, and just recently cleared the table in a game of poker.
Marge is survived by her sons James (Cheryl) of Ferndale and Terry (Irina) of Shelton, Grandson Jason (Lisa) of Oregon, Granddaughter Viktoria (Henrik) of California, and Great Grandchildren, Daisy Adelina, Cash and Alex. Her surviving Brothers are Roger, Curtis and Allen. She was proceeded in death by her Husband, Sisters Shirley and Anita, and her Brothers Ray and Meryl.
All of us have such wonderful memories of Marge, she was beautiful inside and out, and will be so missed by all her family and friends. In Marge’s own words “I have had a long and wonderful life with no regrets”.
