She graduated from Bothell High School in 1954 and started her family shortly thereafter. As her children grew, she joined the North Shore school district as the ice-cream lady at Bothell High School, becoming a beloved local figure with all the local teenagers. She worked in the records department at Safeco Insurance for many years prior to her retirement. She was also an active Avon representative who was well known for selling make-up and gifting tchotchkes to friends and family. Her children remember Becky as a loving mother and friend, who always had a kind word for anyone she met. In addition to her ready laugh and sense of humor, Becky had a mischievous streak and had been pulling good-natured pranks on friends and family since she was a little girl. As someone who often put others first, Becky will be remembered for her hospitality, grace, and generosity with causes close to her heart. There will be a private burial service and a memorial will be scheduled at a later time when it is safe to gather together. In lieu of flowers, to honor Becky’s love of animals, please send donations to your local animal rescue.
