Helen Beatrice Fitch was born on September 28, 1945, to parents Harry and Gladys Ray. She entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2021 at home with her loving family. Helen was a beautiful, sweet woman with a servant’s heart. She had a fierce love for God and her faith was unshakeable and it showed in her daily life. Helen was a very peaceful and content woman, she was welcoming and comforting to all. She absolutely adored her family and made sure they always knew how much they meant to her. Helen loved her Church and enjoyed singing, worshipping, fellowship with other believers and she could always be found in the kitchen cooking for any gathering they put together. Her first love in this life was her husband, Ray Fitch, they met as teenagers, in high school and after their very first date at the county rodeo, they knew they were meant to be together for life. Ray asked her father for her hand in marriage and because they were so young he was denied, so what did they do? They ran off and eloped and got married in Mississippi on December 22, 1960 when she was still just 15 years old. Helen knew he was the one for her and they began their beautiful life together and 60 years of wedded bliss. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Helen got a special blessing when she became a grandmother and one of her favorite pastimes was spending time with her family and making precious memories that they will all now cherish forever.
