ADD A MEMORYJoan Day
January 15, 2021
Shelia you were loved. My funny memory was when you came over to pick up the mower. While loading it, I came out to watch in my PJ's and Dakota asked me if I was fixing to go to Walmart.
We shared so many laughs and tears over the years . My love to the family

Shelia Elaine Mayo was so much more than a friend to me. Shelia was my best friend, my sister and even my mother at times ! She was one of the strongest, kindest, gentlest, compassionate and fierce women I ever knew.
Shelia had a extraordinary heart for others. Her display of love, compassion and understanding for others was
indescribable.
To do what she did in taking care of others day after day and year after year took a deep passion for the lives and well-being of others. She lived in pain everyday but most would never hear her complain. She had many health issues that never seemed to slow her down for long.
Shelia had a God given strength and love for helping others . She was a selfless woman. Always wanting the best for her family, friends and others and doing whatever she could do to see that they had anything they
needed !
Shelia loved to travel and have new adventures. She was always planning for our next adventure. She wanted me and her to go sky diving ! Lol
Shelia will be tremendously missed by me and all that knew her.
Until we meet again in heaven
I Love You forever and always

You were one of a kind.
You gave your opinion even when it wasn’t the most popular opinion. You spoke from your heart, you always allowed the Holy Spirit to guide you in your path. You always spoke of going to Heaven. “ I’ll do what I want, I’m going to Heaven if I die”
I always thought it funny you would say if I die. Paul writes in both Corinthians and says “if I die” He believed Jesus was coming back in his lifetime, and he wouldn’t experience death. He had no fear, spoke his mind about Jesus no matter what it cost him.
You were very much the same way. Thank you for that. Thank you for being the best granny Cory could ask for.
We love you and miss you.

I knew Sheila through her daughter, Jennifer. Sheila was always the sweetest person, who I talked a lot to in high school and whenever I would see Jennifer anytime afterwards. My heart goes out to Jennifer and her entire family! Heaven sure did gain an angel! Y’all are in my prayers!

Momma loved her gun, and her right to keep it. She had just taken the course for her LTC. We submitted her application and she did her fingerprints on 1/7/2021 to obtain the license. She was so excited about this. It’s something she had wanted to do for years and she finally did it.
