ANNA R. ANDERSON MACON – Anna R. Anderson, 93, passed away Tuesday night, July 20, 2010 at a local nursing care facility. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2010 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Tim Long will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Anderson, wife of the late William Benjamin Franklin Anderson, Jr., was born in Wilkinson County the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Arnold and Robbie Lou Rozar Arnold. Living in Macon most of her life, she was a member of Church of the Wildwood. A devoted homemaker, Mrs. Anderson’s greatest joy was loving and caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dot Elder.

Survivors include her children, Marcia Clark (B.L.) of Macon, Frankie Orr (David) of Bonaire and Jill Jones (Daniel) of Macon; son-in-law, Paul Elder of Macon, thirteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren and several nieces.

The family wants to express their deep appreciation to the staff of Lynn Haven Nursing Home for their loving care given to our mother and grandmother.
