Marjorie Vinue Lavender Self, 92 of Macon, Georgia passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will have a visitation time on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Born in Gordon, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Vinue Lavender and Susie Mae Springer Lavender. She was the widow of Donnie Eugene Self and preceded in death by daughters, Wanda Caruthers and Sandy Skinner, and Son, Michael Calhoun.
She is survived by her children, Dennis Calhoun, Keavin Calhoun (Cindy), Colin Calhoun (Bernadette) and Crystal Anderson (Dave); Sister, Brenda Griffin (Royce); 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
