Mavis Hinson Golden

Mavis Hinson Golden, 75, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, September 17, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends from 1:00pm until the service.

Mavis was born in Bonifay, Florida to the late Fred and Carol Taylor Hinson. She was a hairdresser and enjoyed fishing, sewing, quilting and going out to eat catfish on Friday nights. Mavis was loving and devoted to her family.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Raymond Golden; children, Deborah Morris, Cindy Fennell and Deron (Lelia) Davis; grandchildren, Brandi (Jeremy) Hinshaw, Katlyn Guin, Will and Matt Davis; great grandchildren, Graham and Murphy Hinshaw; and brother, Doyle (Carol) Hinson.
