Tommy Greene Sr.

MACON – Thomas Joseph Greene, Sr., 72, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Bethany Baptist Church in Bolingbroke. Entombment will be in the Camellia Mausoleum at Riverside Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Corbitt and Rev. Wendell Thomas will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6 until 8 pm Tuesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street.

Mr. Greene was born in Macon and had lived in Middle Georgia for all of his life. He was retired from R.A.F.B. and was a master plumber. Mr. Greene was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and was a lover of the outdoors. He was the son of the late Lee R. and Lollie Lewis Greene.

Mr. Greene is survived by his wife, Margaret Riddell Greene of Macon; children, Cindy Castodio (Reg) of Reno, Nevada, Kenny Greene (Nicki) of Bolingbroke, Tommy Greene, Jr. (Leigh) of Bolingbroke, Brian Greene (Tina “fiancée”) of Macon; 6 grandchildren; brother, Roy Greene (Helen) of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
