Born in Lynchburg, December 28, 1968, he is the son of Harold R. Inge and Sue Mullins Inge of Amherst. Skipp was a veteran of the Army National Guard of Virginia, he loved to play his guitar and ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting but most of all loved his family.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by three children, Christopher Tyler Inge, Savanna Conner and husband Gary and Brittney Inge; three step-children, Katie Tomlin, Aaron Tomlin and Nicholas Tomlin; one brother, Kenneth Inge; one sister, Tracy Sugden; four grandchildren, Dean Hilliard, Ryan Hilliard, William Hilliard and Kayleigh Denton and his mother-in-law, Frances Turner.
A service celebrating his life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Gary Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Allwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at the funeral home.
