Rick, wanted to let you know that due to my work schedule I was not able to attend the services for your Mother. I wanted you to know that I am thinking about you and I am sorry for your loss. I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. May God give you comfort in this difficult time.

Rick and family,
Your mother was a gracious and sweet woman. She was working at Asbury UMC when I arrived as a younger preacher on Dec. 1, 1987. Deloris was a tremendous help to me and I doubt my time there would have gone so well, without her help. She loved my office dog, Gorgeous.

Deloris was so proud of you and the boys. She would talk about you a lot. It was so good to see her light up and smile even more as she talked about you.

I am sorry she has passed and it probably hurts very deeply. As she has found healing in eternal life, may you find comfort, joy and love as your lives continue. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God grant you the gifts you need today and always.
Blessings,
Margo Friend

Rick, Alice and Family,
Ronnie and I are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family today and the coming days. You were so blessed to have had your mother for so many years. Whether we lose them at a young age or later in years it is so hard. When I lost my mom I never knew your heart could hurt so much and I am sure you are feeling the same way. I have always heard that time heals but I always say time does not heal you just adjust to life without them.
