Mr. Nemerson was an Army veteran of the United States military during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Leslye Nemerson; daughter Stacey Palant and her husband Adam; daughter Jacki Pitkow and her husband Seth; and four grandsons: Ryan Licht, Jason Licht, Alex Pitkow, and Andrew Pitkow.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Avenue, Manalapan, New Jersey 07726 followed by a committal service at Beth El Perrineville Cemetery, 755 Perrineville Road, Perrineville (Millstone), New Jersey 08535.
The period of mourning will be observed at the Palant residence on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 following the burial (Minyan at 8:00 PM); Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 7:00 PM (Minyan at 8:00 PM); Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 7:00 PM (Minyan at 8:00 PM); Friday, February 21, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM; Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 7:00 PM (Minyan at 7:30 PM); and Sunday, February 23, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and at 7:00 PM (Minyan at 8:00 PM).
