I met Hilda 9 years ago when she hired me to help her move into Seabrook. I knew I wanted to be friends with her immediately. I visited her every week since. We shared our favorite books together, she told me of her travels, she always asked about my family wanting to know what everyone was up to. We agreed to not talk politics and laughed about that. I told her often how Wednesday s were my favorite day because of our little visits. And we always said I love you to each other when we said goodbye.
I admired her courage , her independence and her wisdom. I am blessed to have known her.
My sympathy goes to her family that she loved. She was an amazing women.
