Born in Brooklyn, she resided in Sheepshead Bay before settling in Englishtown 30 years ago.
Prior to retiring, Miriam was a bookkeeper for The Brooklyn Friends School, where she worked for 10 years. She was always an extremely conscientious worker, but more importantly, always put her family first and foremost.
She was predeceased by her brother, Sidney Blum, and Sister, Sylvia Blum.
Surviving are her loving husband of 66 years, Henry; her sons: Ira Haimowitz and his wife Marci, and Steven Haimowitz and his husband Danny; and 7 grandchildren: Rachel, Matthew, Sean, Brian, Connor, and Cooper.
A graveside service will be held at Beth Israel Cemetery under the direction of Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels.
