Allan Reinhard, 83, of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 16, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was born in Irvington and raised in Union. Allan served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and worked as a diesel mechanic and manager for Point Pleasant Iron Works. He lived in Brick for 40 years before moving to Toms River 17 years ago.
Allan had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed bowling, was an avid New York Yankees fan and loved riding motorcycles, riding up until just two years ago. Allan was a loving husband, father, grandfather & great-grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.
Allan was predeceased by his wife, Lari Ann “Bunny” Reinhard, in 2009 and his daughter, Shirley Daly, in 2003. He is survived by his son, Michael Reinhard of Toms River, NJ; his daughter, Kathy Mummolo and her husband Paul of Brick, NJ; 5 grandchildren, Amanda, Christina, Paul, Melissa and Michael; and 6 great-grandchildren, Abigail, Joshua, Isla, Loch, Autumn and Zachary.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 4-7pm at Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South Street, Manasquan, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Brielle.
