Just heard from my daughter Jennifer through Tom Leahey that Joan passed away. I have so many wonderful memories of camping together with your family and pizza nights in Sussex County. Although I had not seen her in years, every once in a while I go through my old photo albums and think of all the fun we had in those early days. She was always laughing! I hope you are doing well, Tom, but know that grief takes its time to go through. And it was so good to see pictures of Kimberly and Sean, now all grown up.
Take care. Ellen

Tom, Kim, Sean and family,
We have just become aware of Joan's sudden passing. Please accept our sincere condolences during this time of sadness and reflection. We remember Joan from our MRYC days as an avid tennis player and devoted mother and wife. She was always pleasant and full of fun with a smile for all. God Bless all and take peace in your memories.
