I grew up going to the Spring Lake Library and going to children's book club with Mrs. Lindemuth. She had a wonderful way of making the library feel welcoming, particularly to children, and she helped inspire a love of reading in me. My father often talks about the patient and polite atmosphere she brought to the library - she made phone calls requesting back late books with graciousness and she once forgave him a 40 cent late fee when he repaired the damaged library sign hanging outside the door. She will be missed, and my family offers the utmost sympathy to your family.

Hello Mom,
having you as my Mom for almost 80 years, simply wasn't enough time.
today at 3pm, marks the last time we spoke on the phone last week, the day before you left.
hoping against hope, i called you at the house, there was no answer. reality has now set in.
before saying good bye on the phone, we said that we love each other.
my love for you is enduring.
Rest peacefully my Precious Mother

Dear Terri and Sandy. My deepest sympathy over your sad loss. As an overseas university student on summer vacation in 1978, I needed to write a geography essay about New Jersey. I ventured into Spring Lake Library for some relevant books to borrow, and there began a near 40 year friendship with Lynn. A most wonderful lady always cheerful, blessed with a great memory and always concerned more about other people's lives than her own. She will be hughly missed Mike Yeshin Chigwell Essex UK

I am so very sad for your loss
Lynn came to me, as a fiddle student, but it didn't take long before we became friends and in that friendship, Lynn became a beautiful, bright star - in my life's sky.
I admired her spirit, and how she set a blazing trail in her journey - with braveness and determination that not too many people could have achieved. I genuinely adored her vibrant, enthusiastic outlook and joyful expectation of life.
I feel truly blessed to have been given the gift of sharing music, books, poetry, laughter & friendship with her.

I shall miss her greatly and I know, even now through these tears as I write this that I will smile often when I think of her.
I will keep you all in my prayers xoxo Jennifer
