My deepest sympathy to the Vitale family. There was not a better advocate for the sport of Wall Soccer. His legacy was the building Wall of Fame, glass showcase, at the high school. He was always reaching out to make things better for others. May his soul RIP.

Dear Vitale Family,

With a fellow American buddy, Mark Cole (who is also sadly not with us any more), Marc and I painted Paris pink for a brief period with his time with Deutschebank. His energy and generosity have a special place in my heart and I much regret that I did not keep in touch as I much as should have when he returned to the States. He helped me professionally and socially with his larger than life personality and I smile when thinking of our after lunch cognacs, just the two of us at the Paris International Golf club. God knows how we got back safe. Marc is the kindest of souls, who always had an angle on something, made everyone smile and his infectious manner made us feel privileged to be spending time with him. He always spoke glowingly of his family, and although I chanced to play golf with him only once again at his home course, I remember how he offered his assistance should my mother need any help establishing herself in NJ. What a gent!

I am very sorry for your loss, and if I come across any pictures of our irreverent times, I will endeavor to get them to you.

Respectfully, David Catton Paris, France

Mark was, is and will always be an example of the hard work that made Wall soccer great.

It was an honor to know and play with him.
