Meg Bannick, 47, of Spring Lake Heights, passed away Friday, August 13th at Jersey Shore Medical Center with her family and friends by her side after a long illness. Meg grew up in Spring Lake with a large family and lots of friends.

She began her career at a young age of 13 working at Jean Louise Candies in Spring Lake, NJ and eventually became owner in 1992. The girls and I cannot express how sorry we are for your loss. We love Meg; she was a second mother to Jackie and Kim for many years. Jaime is ever grateful for Meg's support during her college years. We miss the old times - the wonderful years while the kids were growing up, the shared trips and parties. Please take comfort in knowing that Meg is at peace and will continue to provide love and support to you from her new place in heaven.

Love to you all,

Patty, Jaime, Jackie and Kimmy
