Mrs. Marucci was a wonderful and caring 5th grade teacher! She contributed a lot to her beloved Spring Lake for many years. She always remembered her former students and we will never forget her and all that she gave to us at H.W. Mountz. Class of 1968.

Mildred, my friend, I will miss our very long phone conversations, your fantastic desserts, our lunches at the beach and most of all the gossiping... You always had a story to tell.
I know Helen was waiting for you on the other side and you two are playing tile rummy and have a cocktail!
God Bless you and rest in peace.

We are saddened at the passing of our beloved teacher and friend. Mrs. Marucci (Mildred as she wanted us to call her) remembered all her students and attended all of our reunions, and there were many. May she rest in peace. Fondly, Edith (Kenyon) and Bob Nesbitt. MHS Class of 1950

She added so much to my life. She was an outstanding teacher. I and my daughters benefited from her teaching skills. It was also a great pleasure to teach in the classroom next to her. She was an inspiration to all and will be missed. My sympathy. Betty Henningsen
