OBITUARY

Warren E. Miesegaes

January 5, 1943December 3, 2019

Warren E. Miesegaes, 76, of Manasquan, died Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Belleville, NJ, he lived in Racine, WI and Yardley, PA before moving to Manasquan over 40 years ago.

Mr. Miesegaes was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University and Clarkson University. A former Industrial Engineer and business owner, Mr. Miesegaes worked for Coach USA in New Brunswick for over 20 years before retiring in 2018. He enjoyed carpentry, riding motorcycles, listening to classic country music, and spending time with his friends, family, and pets. He was a member of GWRRA, the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, and was active in their community events, fund raisers, and road trips, enjoying the company of his beloved wife and club members while traveling to some of the area’s most beautiful locales.

Mr. Miesegaes is survived by his wife Barbara (née Antwine), his son, Dr. George R. Miesegaes, his grandsons Jason S. and Jack E. Miesegaes, and is also survived by his daughter Mrs. Ann C. Futrell, son-in-law Richard L. Futrell, and granddaughter Katelyn G. Futrell.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 19th 2019 at 11:00am at Atlantic View Cemetery in Manasquan. Repast to follow; details will be provided to those in attendance.

Neary-Quinn Funeral Home in Manasquan is in charge of arrangements.

I will always remember Warren for two things - his love of riding and his sense of humor. Most weeks Warren would send me a joke and it would always brighten my day. I wish Warren and Barb had come into mine and Sue's life sooner.
