Doris Jean Cloutier, 81, of Manchester, died on June 29, 2012 after a lengthy illness. She was born on February 26, 1931 in Lincoln, NH the daughter of Jerry and Miriam (Valley) McNally . She was raised in Lincoln and educated in the local school system.
She was married in 1950 to Joseph Cloutier and together they relocated to Manchester in 1960. They shared 61 years of marriage until his death in December 2011. She was employed as a sales clerk at Bradlee’s Department Store and was a former member of the Policemen’s Wives Association. They also wintered in Kissimmee, FL for more than 25 years.
Family was very important to Doris and she greatly looked forward to family get-togethers and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing cards and her trips to Mohegan Sun.
Members of her family include her two daughters Ann Marie Mailloux and her husband Robert of Winter Haven, Fl and Jeannie Murphy and her husband Daniel of Manchester, her five grandchildren Trisha Ballbach and her husband William of Londonderry, Kelly Duprey and her husband Tom of Merrimack, Justin Murphy of Manchester, Stefanie Mailloux of Tucson, AZ and Catherine Mailloux of Winter Haven, FL, her five great-grandchildren Caitlin Murphy, Keith Field, Brigid Murphy, Joseph Mailloux-Griffin and Nora Duprey, her sister Miriam Mayhew of Dover as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday July 3, 2012 from 10AM to noon at the McHugh Funeral Home 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester followed by a Memorial Service in the funeral home. Interment took place at Mt. Calvary in Manchester.
