Mary Lou Jacob

Mary Lou Jacob, 99, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday March 7th, 2020 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick Township NJ. Mary Lou was born in the Santurce section of San Juan Puerto Rico and immigrated to the United States as a small child. She spent many years in Manhattan and Brooklyn New York before moving to Clifton NJ in 1956. In 2005 Mary Lou moved to Toms River then to the Harrogate retirement community in 2006. It was here that she spent the rest of her years. Mary Lou had unwavering faith and was extremely patriotic, with a profound love for this country! She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Mary Lou is survived by her five children: Rosemary Zuchowski of Salida, Colorado, Lorraine Wilberscheid of Toms River, Edward M. Jacob and his wife Rose of Manahawkin, James T. Jacob and his wife Marilyn of Acushnet, Massachusetts and Deborah Miller and husband Mike of Chandler, Arizona, eight grand children and four great grand children. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward M. Jacob Sr in 1988. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 10th from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Anderson and Campbell funeral home, 3010 Ridgeway Rd. Manchester Township. A religious service will be the following morning on Wednesday March 11th at 11 a.m. Burial will be immediately following at the Cresthaven Cemetery in Clifton NJ
