Sharon Grant

A 1962 graduate of Mansfield Senior High, she retired from Newman Technology. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and being a Pastor's wife, she was very active in the church. She enjoyed reading any kind of book and especially liked Amish stories. She was a loving and generous woman who never said anything bad about anyone and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was known for her quote "I am blessed, I am blessed, I am blessed".

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gary Grant; two sons, Michael (Kim) Grant of Ontario, Ohio and Mark (Melissa) Grant of Mechanicsburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Curtis (Lauren) Carman, Bethany Carman, Michelle Grant, Seth (Megan) Grant, Caleb Grant, Amber Lister and Levi Cauley; three great grandchildren, Easton Grant, Kameron Grant and Desean Jackson; one brother, Arthur (Sandra) Ramey, Jr.; two sisters, Irene (Charles) Brooks of Ontario and Maxine Tabor of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews; six sisters-in-law, Avenell (George) Savage of Shelby, Carol (Tom) Pennington, Kathy (Joe) Copley, Connie (Larry) Castle all of Ft. Gay, WV, Debbie (Mike) Copley of Huntington, WV and Brenda (Chip) VanScoy of Pennsylvania; and a brother-in-law, Larry (Dixie) Grant of Shelby.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Madeline (Walter) Griffitts, Donna Jean Ramey and Jeanine (Loy) Hogan; two brothers, Roger Ramey and Sydney Ramey; a brother-in-law, Donald Tabor; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Edna (Webb) Grant.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2013 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the Church of God of Prophecy, 1080 W. Longview Avenue, Mansfield, conducted by Rev. Charles Brook and Dr. Fred Lawson. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
