To the Capilet's family my 5 cousins, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Our prays and thoughts are with you all. I'm sure uncle Joe is with the love of his life dancing for eternity. Uncle Joe took me to my first football game and many baseball games to follow. I'll never forget once at one of my little league games, they were short an umpire and he offered to umpire second base. I hit a single and made it to first base and tried to steal second base and Uncle Joe called me out. I was so mad but I knew I was out. I let that slide because he taught me how to pitch and throw an awesome curve ball, what a good pitcher I was because of him. I love you Uncle Joe.
Love You and Miss You, your nephew, Charles.

God Bless Joseph C. Capilets's Soul he was a wonderful man we will never forget. Joe took my father George and my brother George to a Mets game at Shea that my father will never forget.
As you miss Nina his loving wife and Joe know that they are Angels in Heaven looking out for all of us mortals. God has His reasons for taking the good people like Nina, Joe and my brother George ( at 46 ) because I think He needs more Angels in Heaven.
For myself I will never forget the constant talk of baseball and Crayola crayons. And how when the Capilets family moved to Syosset from Garden City he gave me such great and specific directions to take Berry Hill etc. to get to the house. He always went above and beyond the call of duty to be a wonderful man.
I will miss him very much as will my family.
