Flossie H. Duffey

She was born September 21, 1912 in Council Grove, Kansas to Grover and Clara (Wiggins) Burnett.

Flossie loved bowling, which she happily did until she was 95. She also enjoyed sewing and traveling. Her family was most important to her and she loved any time spent with them.

She is survived by her daughters, Clara (Bill) Piper and Judy Miller, her seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Duffey; her son, Albert Lee Duffey; her parents; her sister and two brothers.

There will be a visitation from 6 to 7pm on Thursday, August 30 at the Marengo United Methodist Church, 119 E. Washington St., Marengo. There will be a service at 7pm.

Interment will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marengo United Methodist Church or to Transitions Hospice, 12040 Raymond Ct., Huntley, IL 60142.
