As I recall, your Mom always seemed to have a cookie or two for you and me after a hard afternoon of playing in the neighborhood... And there were many many nights when my Mom and I would come to your house on Monday nights to watch ARTHUR GODFREY'S TALENT SCOUTS, and Godfrey's Wedneday night variety program too. You house, at the time, had one of the few TV sets in the town - outside of the bars..

Dear Robert,
Thank you for bringing your precious mother to our Free Verse Poetry Group. She was precious and light hearted. She came to hear poetry and be with you, I'm sure, but she blessed the rest of us by laughing in the right places, smiling, having kind words.
Sometimes our lives touch others for a brief time and infrequently, but they leave an imprint on us. Your mother was like that.
Prayers as you grieve the loss of your dear mother,
Pat
