Betty Jean Ridge

Mrs. Betty Jean Ridge, age 86, of Kennesaw, passed away December 16, 2018. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was retired from The Sears Corporation with over 25 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Artie Ellis and Leola West Carver; siblings, Paul Carver, Donnie Carver, Christine Patterson, Peggy Raymond; a son, Granville Ridge.

Survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert R. “Bob” Ridge; children, Robert Ridge, Jr and his wife, Doris, Linda Myers and her husband, Billy; grandchildren, Tina Jackson, Thomas Ridge, Pamela Barnard, Sheree Cook, Elizabeth May, Amy Ridge, Will Myers; 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 19 at 2 PM in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Audie Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends between the hours of 5 until 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
