My mother loved her family, her career, her friends with exceptional, unconditional love. She lived her life with a smile, always seeing the positive in everyone and everything. She loved life, and it showed in every endeavor she undertook. Mother was known for being dependable, extremely bright and gracious. She has been described as not only beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well. On April 20, 2017 she was thrilled to hold her new born twin great grandchildren, Scarlett and Jack Jenkins. From that moment on, she was now known as "Nana." With great joy she celebrated their 1st birthday at her home and said she was enjoying every loving minute of it.

Nana was a super mother, a friend and without her there is no telling where I would be today.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the words of our loving heavenly Father bring your family comfort and strength during this most difficult time as He promises to bring our loved ones back to life in a perfect world where there will be no more suffering or death (John 5:28-29 & Revelation 21:4).

I worked with Nan at WellStar in Support Services on Thursday morn for about 9 years. I've been volunteering there for 11 years and Nan for about 25. She ran our Thursday morning crew with Grace and an inclusive sense of humor. Being a 6th generation Cobb Countian, I've always loved kidding her about being from Alabama and saying "numba" instead of number. But most of all I loved her, she knew that, and put up with my nonsense. We were shocked at her passing as She seemed one of those who might go on in Earthly form forever. In the end that is never true, but GOD wastes nothing and has transitioned her to a higher clime. And She deserved that promotion plus She will live on here in our Hearts. Condolences to her Son and Grandson - the Loves of Her Life here.
