I just learned of Joe's passing today from my daughter, a classmate and friend for many years of this amazing young man. His life has touched many, inspired many, he leaves behind two amazing boys to see daddy as the man whom they will always look up to. May God give you strength in the days, weeks, months and years that lay ahead, and may you always know you have people who will be with you when you need a sholder, when you need an ear, when you need someone's hand to hold in what is sure to be the hardest thing you will ever know. I wish I could offer more than words, but I do hope you know a kind of peace only God can give. And all of you will be close in our prayers, in our hearts, and in our thoughts.

I am truely sorry that this has had to happen to you. I went to school with Joe and loved him dearly but that love did not get past friendship. We worked on a school paper while at Eastfield and I had the chance to see him again in high school. He was a person I could talk to and one who really understood me. I will keep all of you in my prayers and may God bless and shine upon you in this sad time.
