Fannie Hunter Cranford

Fannie Hunter Cranford, a former resident of the Marion area, died on December 8, 2012, at Morningside Manor in San Antonio, TX, at the age of 95. She was born to Fred and Ether Hunter of Glenwood on July 20, 1917. She graduated from Glenwood High School and married Edwin Cranford, who preceded her in death. She worked in grocery sales for many years and was active in the Providence Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Mimi Condrey and Barbara Rhymes, both of San Antonio, and her son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Grace Cranford, of Marion. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Gurthie Hunter, of Marion, and by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Kirksey Funeral Home is handling arrangements. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
