OBITUARY

Rebecca D. Foreman

July 29, 1949February 22, 2021

Rebecca D. “Becky” Foreman, 71 of Uniondale celebrated her Heavenly homecoming on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Markle Health and Rehabilitation Center. Becky was a graduate of Lancaster High School but was a proud Rockcreek Dodger. She often babysat, worked many odd jobs serving others, worked for Memcor Inc., Peyton’s, The Little Herb Shop, and retired from the Bluffton Walmart after 20 years of service. Becky was well known for caring for others and being a “mom/grandma” to many. She was a strong, independent, and faithful woman. She was never afraid to share her thoughts, love, or smile with anyone.

Becky was born on July 29, 1949 in Wells County, a daughter of the late Verlin F. and Barbara J. (Eckelbarger) Davison who greeted her at the gates of Heaven.

She leaves her legacy to be carried on by her son: Chad (Carey) Foreman; her daughters: Taija Foreman, Toshua (Michael) Manuel, Chajua Foreman, and Courtney (JB) Baumgartner; her faithful companion: Bailey Buttons; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and her loving granddogs; her siblings: Mary Lynn (Jim) Welch, Dennis (Denise) Davison, Chris (Toni) Davison, sister-in-love: Nancy Davison and her “partner in crime”: Cindy Hunter; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who also stand with her children on this side of Heaven.

She was also greeted at the gates of Heaven by a brother: Rev. Stephen Davison and many aunts and uncles.

Honoring her wishes, there will be no services held.

In lieu of flowers, please take time to make a contribution to your community in some way to honor Becky. This will be her way of paying it forward and giving the glory to God. In care of Myers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 403, Markle, IN 46770.

I remember the Davidson's from my childhood years in Murray. My parents, Rosco & Maxine Rupel & her parents were friends. Sometimes we kids would walk out to the Davidson home to visit on a nice day...it wasn't far & lots of fun to spend time together. My brother, Fred, and Danny played together. I was 2 years older than Becky. I was shocked to see her obituary. We lost touch over the years, having moved into "town" (Bluffton) just after I got out of 3rd grade at Lancaster. Always had such fond memories of those days spent with the Davidsons. Rest in peace, Becky, my childhood friend. Susan (Rupel) Gallivan.

I was also a Rockcreek Dodger & a Lancaster graduate with Becky. Lived down the street from her for many years. Sad to hear of her passing. Remember her well.

What a huge loss for each of us, but a greater gain for heaven!! Becky was a Walmart icon! Always positive and encouraging to others, although she had hard days herself. No way to replace her! She was a gem!! Love and Prayers for your family in this loss.

Walmart Gramma was one of our favorite people to visit with. Always a smile on her face, and she treated you like she had known you forever. We are grateful that she is with the Lord and can share her love and kindness with those who had gone before her, however that beautiful soul leaves a hole here on earth that can never be filled. Chajua and family: may you find comfort in knowing that she is in a place that is beyond what we can even dream of.
