Cynthia “Cindy” McCranie Pennycuff entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 27, 2019 at University Hospital, in Augusta, GA. She was born on April 5, 1963 in Tifton, GA – a daughter of Dan McCranie and Janice Deaver. She grew up in Warner Robins, GA, loved spending her childhood summers at Cumberland Island, and graduated from Northside High School. She is a graduate of Philips College. Cindy was a dedicated licensed medical coder and she loved the beach. She is survived by her daughter, Whitley Pennycuff and her beloved grand pup, Samson of Augusta, Georgia. Her parents: Mother, Janice Deaver and stepfather Ron Deaver, her Father, Dan McCranie and stepmother Wanda McCranie. Her sisters: Donna Miles, Sheree Meyers (John), Lisa McCranie and brother, Johnny McCranie, and several precious nephews and nieces. The family invites you to attend Cindy’s celebration of life on Friday evening, November 1st, 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907. To help with final expenses, donations can be made directly to Elliott Sons Funeral home on behalf of Cindy Pennycuff.

Cindy was an amazing person and friend. She was always so kind to everyone and truly loved her family and friends. I’m blessed to have known her and will always cherish my memories of our time together. Whitley your mother was so special. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I have so enjoyed Cindy’s friendship over the years. Even though I have not seen her in person we kept up on FB. Prayers to all of you during this time. She will be missed.
