He was born on November 7, 1934 in the Bronx, NY a son of the late Leo and Babette Schiff Bachmann.
Lloyd served his country in the United States Army during peace time. He was a proud American and loved this country, his family and his friends. He grew up with a love for baseball and other sports. He tried out for the NY Yankees at the Polo Grounds in NY as a young man. He was thrilled in later years to have attended a Masters Tournament at the Augusta National which was something he always wanted to do. He attended City College of New York where he graduated from in 1956. He sat for and passed the CPA exam and was employed as a CPA and finance executive for several fortune 500 companies in NYC. He retired to Delray Beach, FL and later moved to Augusta, GA to be close to family. He had a great sense of humor and a wonderful smile.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elaine Stern Bachmann; daughters Lauren Jolles and her husband, Nathan; Cheryl Natale and her husband, Paul; son, Dr. Brad Bachmann and wife Dr. Michelle Stern Bachmann; grandchildren, Emily Jolles, Joshua and Abby Natale, Arielle Natale, Lindsay and Michael Levy, Hailey and Marc Goldenberg and great grandson Liam Levy.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, June 25, at Westover Memorial Park, officiated by Rabbi Shai Beloosesky.
