Susanne was born in Atlanta, Georgia and attended Auburn University. She worked in Real Estate for over 25 years and retired from Barnes Distributors after 30 years of service. Susanne enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Some of her favorite pastimes were spending time at the lake, going to the beach and watching her Georgia Bulldogs and Auburn Tigers. She had many pets over the years; her most recent and favorite was Turbo, who was by her side until the end.
Susanne was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Wolfe Walker; father, William Reid Walker Sr. and sister, Martha Walker Colby.
Left to cherish her precious memories are her children; Alfred Wayne Hester III, Richard Glenn Hester, and Villa Susan Hester Baker; brother, William Reid Walker Jr., 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a very special best friend, Marnel Ann Beasley.
Memorial services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends at 12 PM until the service hour at Elliott Sons.
The family would like to thank the staff at Doctors Hospital and Trinity Hospice for their loving care during this time.
