Born on July 28, 1955 in Martinsburg, he was the son of Everitt and Betty Wiltshire.
Jerry graduated from high school in Nurberg, Germany in 1975. He served in the United States Army for 15 years attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Jerry later went on to work at Crown Cork and Seal. He attended the Church of New Life. Jerry was in Boy Scouts and was awarded the Eagle Scout Badge. He was also a volunteer fireman for Inwood VFD and was the commander of American Legion Post 2 in Petersburg, Virginia.
He loved Sci-Fi, country music, westerns, dancing and having a good time.
In addition to his parents Jerry will be sadly missed by his wife of 41 years, Elisabeth Wiltshire (Lis); son, Mike Everheart; stepson, Rainer Moore; grandchildren: Brooke Ann Everheart, Timothy Everheart, Lucas Everheart, Jacelyn Wellman, and Tabitha Draper; four great-grandchildren; twin sister, Sherry Wiltshire; brothers: Michael Wiltshire, Jeff Wiltshire and wife Mary-Jo, and Everitt (Rick) Wiltshire Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Charles G. Wiltshire and Estell V. Morgan; maternal grandparents: Luther and Myrtle Ross; and step-daughter, Elisabeth (Diana) Moore
Friends will be received on February 28, 2018 from 11am at Rosedale Funeral Home, until time of services at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery.
