Gary and Family,
Russ Kimbro sent me a text yesterday about Walter. LeAnne and I are very sorry for your loss! At 96, he had to be the oldest Rich Acres resident! I know it was from all those years of eating those excellent home grown veggies! Three special memories: Letting me in the house so I could practice banging away on Gary's drum set. Letting Gary and I camp out in the backyard on summer nights. Remembering how clean he kept his painted basement floor! May God ease your sorrow and richly bless you!

Loved Walter so much. He was such a close friend. When Marie passed he would stand at his mailbox and we would cry together everyday. He loved her more than life itself. When my husband was sick he would check on him every day. He made sure he kept us supplied with vegetables from his garden. When he was going to say something funny he always had this cute little smile! He always looked forward to his son coming to visit. Loved his family so much. My love and condolences to his family.

I grew up a few houses down from the Harger's. They had the biggest and best garden in all of Rich Acres!!!! Wonderful neighbors to our family. My sympathies to Gary and his family.
