Lyle E. Foster Jr.

Age 73, died February 1, 2011. He was born November 9, 1937, in Ypsilanti, MI to Lyle E. and Tessibel (Owens) Foster, Sr. Lyle was a Dansville resident for 23 years and retired from GM after 38 years of service. He loved to travel, enjoyed going to auctions and was known for his awesome yard sales in spring and fall.

He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew (1979). Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Cheri; 2 daughters, Lylian Foster, Ellen (Tim Darling) Foster; son, Sampson (Patricia) Foster; 4 grandchildren, Angela Wortley, Dustin Wortley, Nikki Foster, Rebecca Williams; 3 great-grandchildren, Alex, Amariya, Thomas; one brother, Charles (Shani) Bigelow; 4 sisters, Roberta Sweatman, Nancy (Ernie) Cushman, Kelly Pritchard, Julie (Mark) King; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday, February 4, 2011, and Saturday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 621 S. Jefferson, Mason, MI. There will be no services.
