Dear Lynda - I was so sad to hear about Maxine's passing. I have such wonderful memories of the times my family spent with her down through the years. We always loved it when you both would visit us at grandma's house. She would tell us the most interesting (and funny) stories of my mom when she was a little girl. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now at this difficult time.

Dear Linda and Russell.
We were sorry to hear about your mom's death. She was such a gracious lady and a caring person. I would see her (over the years) at Grover and Marlene's and really enjoyed talking and visiting with her. I am sure all of you will miss her. Muriel (Hart) and George Allen

Dearest Russell and Lynda, My heart is aching for you both. It feels like losing Dad (and yours) all over again. I've felt Aunt Maxine rejoicing because she is once again hugging your Dad while being embraced by the precious Lord she so devotedly served. I'm glad that she remained here to see you, Lynda, happy and celebrating this new, exciting chapter in your life--yet so sad that your joy is overshadowed by losing Aunt Max's daily presence. I'll try to be there with you, but know I am with you in spirit and in prayer. I hope you are feeling the comfort only Jesus can provide, because I know your mom is helping directing it to both of you. We love you dearly. Cousins, Julie, Steve and Stephani PS: Stephani is heartbroken for your loss, she loves you all too even though we live so far away.

Dear Lynda, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I hadn't seen her in about 25 years, as I moved to Plant City, Florida after I retired from teaching. I knew her from camp meetings, church activities,(I belonged to Lansing First) and she came over a few times to work on college assignments. Her loss will be hard for you, but time will heal all things. I remember the place you bought in the 1980's at Indian Lake, near the post office. Again, accept my condolences. Marilyn Shaffer Meder
