Armando Galardo

Armando “Army” M. Galardo, age 88, passed away March 29, 2020. Predeceased by loving parents, Dominic and Antonina (Catalano) and brother Gaetano (Guy) Galardo. Devoted partner of 38 years to Julie Cohen, caring brother-in-law of Delores Galardo and proud uncle to Gregory (Emily)and Matthew Galardo. Loving great-uncle of Hailey and Carter. Ever-supportive father-figure to Eric Cohen and Beth Silver (Michael) and grandfather-figure to Marc and Rachael Silver. Cherished friend to Carl and Christine Moravec, Robbi Kennebrew, and caring soul to many others he met and who cared for him. Army was a devoted Catholic, a Notre Dame Running Back, a teacher, an auditor, and a First Lieutenant in the Marines. He will be remembered for his steadfast compassion and strength, love of the Yankees and cavatelli and meatballs; and for his wry sense of humor. Due to social concerns private family services were held. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
