Henrietta "Corky" Wood

Henrietta "Corky" Wood, age 84 of McDonough, Georgia passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021. Corky was born on Friday, September 11, 1936 in Fry, Georgia to the late Creed and Ruby Stillwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert "Buddy" Wood. Corky enjoyed crafting and painting and visiting with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Tammy (Bob) Cleveland of Locust Grove, Terry (David) Gilmore of McDonough and Darryl (Jackie) Wood of Jackson. Seven grandchildren, Jason Flournoy, Julie (Don) Devor, Lee Stephens, David (Marcy) Gilmore, Jill Stephens, Katie (Nate) Ivey and Adam (Ashley) Malloy. Fifteen great grandchildren, one brother, Ray Stillwell and one, sister Laquita (Larry) Dilbeck both from McCaysville, GA and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Caregivers, Darlene Crews, Linda Miller and Southern Grace Hospice. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Georgia.
