She was a very special woman that will always be in my heart for the love she showed towards me. She was a champion to the commandment "love your neighbor as yourself" and I am blessed to have been one of them. She impacted my life with love and I will surely miss her. Visits to Georgia won't be the same but I will see her again someday. A real life angel she was. Thank you Joanne I love you!

Miss JoAnn was one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever known. She took such good care of the staff and students at Pate’s Creek. We all loved and appreciated her!

Miz JoAnn was a genuinely sweet lady! She comforted so many of my Kindergarten students with booboos! I have been gone for 16 years, but I remember her sweet spirit, gentle voice, her kindness, encouragement, and wisdom. She made a difference not only in the lives of my students, but in the teachers... including me! I am sorry for the loss of such a special lady. She was loved by many!
