Mrs. Patsy Rucker of Locust Grove, GA passed away on July 6, 2018 at the age of 73. Patsy was born in Springfield, TN to the late James and Ola Apple. She is also preceded in death by her son Howard Hayes.
Mrs. Rucker enjoyed cooking, reading, scrapbooking and cross-stitching. She was also a fan of Nascar, the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldog football. Nothing brought Patsy more joy than time spent with family and friends, especially her two great grandchildren.
Patsy is survived by her husband James, daughter Terry, granddaughter Lauren (Matt), great grandchildren Caden and Zoey, sister Shirley, niece Tammy (Pete), nephew Buddy (Nancy), sister-in-law Jane (Edward), many great nieces and nephews and dear friend and “Guardian Angel” Debra.
The Rucker family will visit with friends on Monday July 9, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 10 at 10 am in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro, GA.
