Charlene Dechaume, 84, of McGregor, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 at the funeral home.
Charlene was born on March 11, 1937 in Waco, Texas to Albert Jefferson Bond and Doris Ray (Walker) Bond. She married the love of her life, Earnest Dechaume in 1967 and spent her life making a home. Charlene loved to cook and watching soap operas, westerns, and especially Chuck Norris the karate guy.
Preceding Charlene in death were her parents, Albert and Doris Bond; and sisters, Bernice Donaldson, Eileen Fields, Opal Lee, and Margaret Hoven.
Survivors include sons, Bobby Valentine and wife, Karlinda, Paul Valentine and wife, Cynthia, Gerald Dechaume and wife, Lisa, David Dechaume, John Dechaume; granddaughter, Amber Valentine; grandson, Hunter Valentine; and sisters, Evelyn Brown, Joyce Clark and husband, Jerry, and Ann Rains.
