Jose Carmen Hernandez, 68, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2019 at St. Eugene Catholic Church in McGregor, Texas. A visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor.
Carmelo was born on July 16, 1951 to Santos Hernandez and Belen Jaimez in Mexico. He lived in San Marcos, Texas and worked in paint and auto body repair.
Preceding Carmelo in death were his father, Santos Hernandez; mother, Belen Jaimez; and beloved wife, Rosalinda Hernandez.
Survivors include his sons, Guillermo Hernandez, Xavier Hernandez; granddaughter, Alexia Lynn Hernandez; grandsons, Xavier Hernandez, Jr., Joe Santos Hernandez; brother, Humberto Hernandez; sister, Griselda Villa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
You left us with an emptiness in our hearts. May God take you by the hand and lead you into the Gates of Heaven. We will cherish the endless number of memories we have of you and will cherish them in our hearts forever.
