Dear Sharon and Patrice, I have loved recalling memories of your mom during our high school years. Although I did not see her much, she was a strong presence in your home. Her laugh was wonderful and her support of you two was unwavering. I admired her outspoken ways. I clearly remember your dad as the almost silent member of that dynamic duo of parents, yet his quietness was just as bold as your mom's outspokenness. You are blessed with the memories of two of the best. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Susan,Your hot-fudge-nutty-nutty friend forever!

Dear King family,
My family will be praying for you during this time of need. My brothers, Lee and Ben Blasingame, and I, Renae Blasingame Robbins, are related to you through our maternal grandmother, Ruth Yates Fenton. We are distant cousins. Once long ago Alvin, Weezie, Irene Glasco, and Louise Lawrence came to visit me one afternoon when I lived in Harbinger, NC. We had a lovely lunch and fun conversation. My family, the Blasingames, with the Yates and Fentons enjoyed being with your family at their beautiful waterfront home for the family picnics long ago. Irene would play her violin and we would sing and sing. Then the Glascos would take us on a sightseeing river tour. It was all so relaxing and fun. What memories! We have many pictures to remind us of those times.
Patrice and Sharon, my mother, Joyce Fenton Blasingame, half sister to Lorene Thom and Louise Lawrence, passed away June 27, 2016. I miss her everyday with my whole heart. I have relied on the Lord to help me everyday. It is Jesus' love and peace that comfort me. I can just imagine all our relatives who have passed on having reunions at the River of Life just like they did on the earth!
We are praying for strength for your family.
Love, Renae & Kenny Robbins rbrobbins@msn.com
