Virginia was the kind of neighbor everyone loves to have. Not only was she friendly and kind, but also very generous with the “bounty” of her garden. Numerous times she made the statement; “if you need anything, let me know”. In conversations with her, you knew she was a big animal lover. She also liked working outside and riding her mower. We will miss seeing her riding it with her big floppy hat on her head coming to get the mail. We loved her, and she will be greatly missed! ❤️❤️❤️

My memories of grandma are those of kindness, love and simplicity. She was a kind, simple & a loving soul. She was always calm and polite to us and her presence will be missed. God bless her soul.

One of the sweetest ladies I ever had the pleasure of meeting. She exuded a maternal kindness and gentleness of spirit that made me feel immediately at ease in her presence. She will live in my heart forever. My love to her family.

The only grandma that I knew and had the privilege of knowing. She was and still continues to be a true inspiration to me and my family. She was always there, was patient and accepting. She treated everyone like her own. She was the most strongest and most beautiful person that I have known. Her fateful trip to Richmond allowed her to raise a family. Thank you grandma, we love you and you will forever be with me.
