It was so wonderful to see how many people Bobbie, as I knew him, has touched over the years. I hauled hay with him when I lived up Star Gulch, but after high school I joined the military and moved away. I don't think you ever really leave someplace or someone that has come into your life. Such as it is with Bobbie. No matter where I was in the world or this country my mind always came back to the Applegate Valley and the people there. RIP in peace Bobbie, your work in this world is done and done quite well. We have the watch.

Bob was a devoted firefighter, a good friend and neighbor, always willing to lend his services. We remember him with great respect, and fond, farm memories of his faithful friend, Jelly Bean, by his side. Rest well, Bob.
