James Earl Crain, 88, passed away July 10, 2018 at his home in Southaven, Mississippi. He was a veteran of the United States Army and member of Longstreet United Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to fish and spend time at his farm. Mr. Crain retired with 35 years of service at Alco-Gravure/ Quebecor Printing Corporation of Memphis.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Mary Crain; a son, Gary Crain and by his brother.
He is survived by two sons, Will Crain and Tim (Denise) Crain; granddaughter Kaylee Crain and by two sisters.
The family will receive friends on Friday July 13, 2018 from 5-8 P.M. with funeral services held Saturday July 14, 2018 at 10 A.M.; all at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Mr. Crain may be offered to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
