To: Michelle's family and friends
My heart goes out to you all for your loss of Shelly. To me she will always be Shelly as that is how I grew up knowing her. With only four 1st cousins, family times together were always special. She was a kind, warm and friendly person as child and grew up remaining the same. Though her and I were separated over the years, we did manage to share family events through social media, which I am more grateful for now than ever. I can see by comments of others that she never changed and was greatly loved by her family and friends. Included is a photo taken at the Hudson House, in Hudson Wisconsin around 1961.

To Ed and Family,
What a terrible and sad loss for you, please accept my deepest sympathies.
I knew Michelle when she was growing up in Minnesota. After reading the condolences that her friends wrote I see that she continued to be the same wonderful and gentle person that I knew.
I hope you find strength in your memories...and each other,
Pat Barrett

Michelle was such a nice lady and I always enjoyed her help and visiting with her. I taught James and Dan. Both great guys and she was so proud of them. Condolences to all.

Dearest Ed and family,
Gone is one of the most gentle, caring and hard working woman I have ever had the honor of knowing. She shared her visions, her insights, her love of children instinctually. It was just in her soul to love others .

Our years in Scouting together were wonderful. Always reliable, always calming to everyone and kind. She’s a lady who always created memories . What an honor to know her and her Spirit.

RIP great mom, wife, and friend. You will be remembered.

In sorrow,
Harriet and Byron Cobb

I’ve known Michelle since I was 16 when Michael and I became friends. Michelle and Ed welcomed me and were always so sweet to me. I have several fond memories of hanging out at their home and long conversations with Michelle. The last time I saw her she gave me the biggest hug and showed so much love after not seeing each other for a good amount of time. I will forever miss her beautiful smile and warmth and love.

I am so grateful that I had the honor to call Michelle my friend. She was strong and beautiful. She was the most real, down to earth person I have ever known. She left a place in my heart that will always be there.
Thank you Ed, Michael, James and Dan for sharing her with us. Love you all.

Dear Ed and Family.
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Michelle. Although I was never lucky enough to meet Michelle, I feel I knew Michelle through your, Steve's, and Peggy's wonderful stories of her. I send my condolences to you and the family at this difficult time. May Michelle rest in the arms of the Lord, forever. God bless.

What a sweet friend. She was always there to offer a helping hand or extra Smile when I needed it from GES, GMS and GHS. I can’t ever recall her saying no when I asked! She will be greatly missed. Prayers for all the family.

I have so many fond memories of Michelle- watching Dan and Will growing up, playing sports, watching Dan play at GHS, our girl night dinners at the Chinese place, and talks on the phone. One of the highlights was watching the boys graduate from GHS! We are all going to miss this sweet Angel! Rest In Peace, until we meet again—-
