Connie Behm, 72, of Apache Junction, AZ passed away, July 27, 2021 in Mesa, AZ. She was born June 22, 1949 in Lawrenceville, IL to Eugene and Imogene [Graham] Crouch. At a very young age, she relocated to Michigan, where she grew up in Ann Arbor and graduated from Ann Arbor High School, Class of 67. In the late 1960’s, Connie had a horse boarded at a stable where they were holding an auction, here she saw a young man, named Ed Behm , sat down next to him and started talking with him. Little did she know they would be married years later. Several months later, Connie and Ed met up again on New Year’s Day, and the two started their lives together. They were together for nine years before being married on December 6, 1977 , on a trip to Las Vegas with friends. Connie worked for many years at, Michcon Consolidated gas, and Fry’s Food in Apache Junction, Where she retired from both places once, and returned too work at Fry's Up until her passing. She loved caring for horses and dogs, enjoyed shooting and riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, She was a very giving person who loved life and her family. Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene(Her Father) Paul Mayer(Her Stepfather) and Imogene (Her Mother) and on July 21, 2016, her beloved husband of 39 years, Ed Behm. She is survived by her only son: Austin Sexton, A grandchild coming January 2022, Her sister: Pat Sexton, Nephew, Steven Bressler; nieces, Jamie Sexton, Sue Snyder and Deena Brewster; Great nephews, Hunter and Cody Sexton; and a special friend, who she thought of as a son, Thomas Grattan. Connie will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
